Firm partner Mark Kovacich has been named to list of the nation’s 500 Leading Environmental Lawyers for 2025 by the Lawdragon guide. Honored in the practice area of Environmental Litigation, this marks the second consecutive year that Mark has been honored in this category, which recognizes the “lawyers who spend their lives helping address our world” according to the publication’s editor.

The publication’s “Green 500” guide is developed using a process of nominations from within the profession, extensive research and vetting among peers and experts in environmental law.

Mark’s work in the practice area includes successfully litigating personal injury and property damage claims resulting from soil and groundwater contamination on private property. He has helped hundreds of landowners secure the funds necessary to clean up toxic pollution on their properties, as well as representing individuals exposed to chemicals and contaminants from refineries, railroads, and other industrial operations, including cancer causing agents.
