Mark Kovacich, managing partner with the Great Falls-based law firm of Kovacich Snipes Johnson, has become a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, one of the premier legal associations in North America. The induction ceremony took place recently before an audience of approximately 950 during the recent Annual Meeting of the College in Washington, D.C.
Mr. Kovacich represents plaintiffs in claims involving serious personal injury, construction accidents, environmental litigation, toxic torts, product liability, workers’ compensation, and safe workplace litigation. The Montana native has recovered more than $350 million on behalf of his clients during his distinguished 25-year career, and was named Trial Lawyer of the Year by the Montana Trial Lawyers Association in 2005, 2019 and 2023. In addition he has been named to the list of Mountain States Super Lawyers annually since 2014, and has been selected to the Best Lawyers in America guide since 2016.
“No more than 1% of practicing attorneys in any state can receive this honor, making this formal induction a very special occasion,” says Mr. Kovacich. “I’d like to acknowledge the outstanding leadership and support from my fellow partners at the firm, my colleagues in the profession, and the clients who have placed their trust in me and our firm.”
Founded in 1950, the American College of Trial Lawyers is widely recognized as the preeminent organization of attorneys in North America, and is composed of the best of the trial bar from the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico. Fellowship is extended by invitation only, following a rigorous investigation process, to experienced trial lawyers who have demonstrated the highest standards of trial advocacy, ethical conduct, professionalism, civility, and collegiality. Candidates must have at least fifteen years of trial experience before consideration for Fellowship.
