Two KSJ partners are featured on the list of the Lawdragon 500 Leading Environmental Lawyers for 2026. Mark Kovacich and Ben Snipes are recognized in this year’s guide, which according to the publication’s editors celebrates “the advocates and warriors who fight every day for sustainable practices, remediation from harm and environmental justice for the planet and all of us who live on it.”

Mr. Kovacich is recognized in the practice area of Environmental Litigation, and Mr. Snipes in Environmental Litigation and Asbestos. They are the only Montana-based attorneys featured on this year’s list.

Both have extensive experience representing individuals throughout Montana who have been harmed by environmental contamination of the soil or groundwater on their properties.
